One Book, One Community is a partnership among Cook Memorial, Indian Trails, and Vernon Area public libraries to bring thousands of readers from the north Chicago suburbs together through literature by encouraging them to read the same book at the same time. The series aims to promote conversations around the themes of the book in the hopes of better understanding ourselves and others.
